Lesson 2 of 8 · 6 min read
Your First Video
Write a prompt with a subject, an action and a mood, and generate your first clip.
- 1
Subject, action, place
Start with who or what is on screen, what they're doing and where. “A white sports car racing along a coastal highway at sunset” already gives the model everything it needs.
- 2
Add the look
Then add one or two words for light and lens: “golden hour, low tracking shot, lens flare”. Short and specific beats long and vague.
- 3
Generate and compare
Generate two takes. Watch both and decide what you'd change. That instinct is the whole job of a director.
Try it
White sports coupe racing along a coastal highway at sunset, low tracking shot, lens flare, car commercial
Open in the studioIf a result is close but not right, change one thing at a time.
Homework
Make a 5-second clip of something you can see from where you're sitting, then make a second version with different light.
