Project brief
Neon Protocol is a chase through a city that never holds its shape. I built the city first as a set of location stills, then animated each one with fly-throughs so the space always feels alive.
The courier never shows her face. Keeping her as a silhouette meant every shot stayed consistent without a character reference, and it made the city the real main character.
Colour rule for the whole film: magenta for the city, green for danger. The laser grid is the only time green fills the frame.
